PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for reforming hydrocarbon, having high effect of inhibiting deposition of carbonaceous substance on a catalyst surface even with use of a reforming substance including carbon dioxide, in particular, with use of a reforming substance formed of carbon dioxide alone, in reforming reaction; a manufacturing method thereof; and a manufacturing method of a synthesis gas using the catalyst.SOLUTION: A catalyst for reforming hydrocarbon by reaction between a reforming substance including carbon dioxide and the hydrocarbon includes a carrier of magnesium having a surface on which an aluminum-containing component is segregated, and at least one kind of metal particles selected from cobalt particles and nickel particles supported on the carrier. A manufacturing method of a synthesis gas includes obtaining a synthesis gas including carbon monoxide and hydrogen from hydrocarbon and a reforming substance including carbon dioxide, using the catalyst. |
