<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition control device for an engine capable of performing ignition control in accordance with a state of an ignition plug while suppressing power consumption of a battery.SOLUTION: An ECU 32 which is applied to an ignition system including an ignition coil 51 having a primary coil 51a and a secondary coil 51b and an ignition plug 40 generating ignition discharge between a pair of counter electrodes 41 and 42 in a cylinder 11b of an engine 11 with a secondary voltage induced by the secondary coil 51b in accordance with shutoff of a primary current supplied to the primary coil 51 and controls ignition operation of the ignition plug 40 sets current-carrying time of the primary current of the primary coil 51a based on the operation state of the engine, and acquires a deterioration parameter showing a deteriorated state of the ignition plug 40. The current-carrying time is corrected based on the deteriorated state of the ignition plug 40.</p> |
