<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for holding and steering an operation object such as a propulsion nozzle.SOLUTION: A first housing member 1 is formed at a first end part 18 of the same so as to be attached to a carrier such as a space navigation machine as the orientation direction of this first housing member remains fixed. A second housing member 2 is formed at a second end part 19 of the same so as to be coupled with an operation object. The first end part and the second end part are positioned at end parts opposite to each other of the longitudinal axis of the device. A tilt mechanism 36 couples the first and second housing members with each other mechanically to be so constituted as to be capable of steering operation for operating a relative attitude of the second housing member to the first housing member and maintaining the relative attitude. The tilt mechanism comprises a shape memory alloy wire as the actuator to get a wire resistance value, and to process a measured value as the controlled variable in a control loop, so that the length of each wire is individually controlled.</p> |
