<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root vegetable harvester capable of lowering a storage bag in the direction of separating it toward the outside of a machine body when the storage bag is lowered onto a field. <P>SOLUTION: The root vegetable harvester includes: a pulling/conveying device 24 disposed on one side in the lateral direction of the machine body for pulling out the crops from the field and conveying the crops upward to the rear; a sorting/conveying device 87 for conveying the crops continuously from the pulling/conveying device 24 from one side to the other side in the lateral direction; a storage member 97 for storing the crops on the terminal end side of conveyance of the sorting/conveying device 87; and a placing member 117 for supporting the storage member 97 under the terminal end side of conveyance of the sorting/conveying device 87 and moving the storage member to the field. The root vegetable harvester also includes a turning support member 112 on the other end side of the machine body for turning the placing member 117 in such an upward inclined attitude as to be inclined upward toward the other side in the lateral direction of the machine body.
