<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reducing mechanism capable of effectively suppressing inclination of an output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A speed reducing mechanism 1 includes: an input shaft 2 and a sun gear 3 coupled to the input shaft 2 and driven thereby; a planetary gear 4 disposed in the outer circumferential side of the sun gear 3 and engaged with the sun gear 3; a planetary carrier 5 supporting the planetary gear 4; an internal gear 6 located in the outer circumferential side of the planetary gear 4 and engaged with the planetary gear 4; an output shaft 7 coupled to the internal gear 6 and driven thereby; a bearing 8 rotatably supporting the output shaft 7; and a casing 9 supporting the bearing 8 and externally covering the sun gear 3, the planetary gear 4, the planetary carrier 5 and the internal gear 6.
