The subject matter of the present invention is a microfluidic process for treating and analysing a solution containing a biological material, comprising a step of introducing the solution into microchannels of a microfluidic circuit (1), a step of forming drops of this solution, under the effect of modifications of the surface tension of the solution, a step of moving the drops to one or more drop storage zone(s) (130), under the effect of modifications of the surface tension of the drops, a step of treating the drops and a step of analysing the drops. |

1. Microfluidic process for treating and analysing a solution containing a biological material, wherein said process comprises the following steps:
introducing said solution into microchannels of a microfluidic circuit (1, 7, 8, 9); detaching drops (40) of said solution in a carrier fluid, caused by the divergence of the microchannel walls, coupled with the effects of the surface tension of said solution; moving at least a portion of said drops (40) in said carrier fluid to at least one drop storage zone (130, 734, 735, 736, 832, 833, 834, 932) in said microfluidic circuit (1, 7, 8, 9), caused by the divergence of said microchannel walls, coupled with the effects of the surface tension of said drops; concentrating said drops of said at least a portion of said drops moved in said storage zone; the dimensions of said storage zone being adapted to the dimensions and the quantity of the drops contained in said portion of said moved drops; applying a treatment to said drops (40) situated in said storage zone(s) (130, 734, 735, 736, 832, 833, 834, 932); analysing said drops (40) situated in the storage zone(s) (130, 734, 735, 736, 832, 833, 834, 932). |
