ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY SYSTEM FOR WIND TURBINE BLADES

The invention relates to a system provided to lift/lower a wind turbine blade for the assembly or removal thereof. The system includes: a means for hoisting the wind turbine rotatable hub and cables driven by anchor winches; a main structure that is movable along the wind turbine tower with hydraulic adjustment to the variable diameter of the tower; an auxiliary blade support structure pivotably coupled at one end thereof to the main structure and suspended at the opposite end thereof from an auxiliary crane truck; supporting arms in the main structure to support the base end of the blade and a set of means for lifting/lowering the blade that include lifting plates; fixed structure brackets; hydraulic lift supporting means; and hydraulically extendable means for maintaining and suspending the blade while holding/releasing same relative to means for supporting the attachment to the hub bearing.
