The method comprises: acquiring a text input instruction generated by execution of a first operation by a user, presenting inputted text on the basis of the text input instruction; querying a text prediction database on the basis of the inputted text, acquiring and presenting a predicted text set corresponding to the inputted text, where the predicted text set is a set of phrases or sentences; acquiring a predicted text selection instruction generated by execution of a second operation by the user, acquiring a predicted text in a subset of the predicted text set on the basis of the predicted text selection instruction, where the predicted text is a field in the subset of the predicted text set; acquiring a predicted text input instruction generated by execution of a third operation by the user, and inputting the predicted text to a text input window on the basis of the predicted text input instruction. The provided technical solution implements rapid input of text, thus increasing input efficiency. |
