PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved means for acquiring and processing an image signal.SOLUTION: An image sensor has a red pixel generating a red image signal, a blue pixel generating a blue image signal, and two transparent pixels generating a white image signal. The red, blue and white image signals thus generated are filtered so as to increase noise correlation between respective image signals, thus reducing noise due to application of a color correction matrix. A processing circuit calculates a scaling value including a linear combination of red, blue, white and green image signals. The scaling value is applied to the red, blue and green image signals, so as to generate a corrected image signal having an improved image quality. |
