PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery in which hydrogen and oxygen are generated by power supply and at the same time, power which can be supplied to a power consumption device can be generated by using the hydrogen and the oxygen.SOLUTION: A fuel battery has a casing 12 and an electrode assembly in the casing 12. The electrode assembly has a porous substrate 36, and a first electrode 46 and a second electrode 44 at one side of the substrate 36. A third electrode 60 and a fourth electrode 62 are provided at the other side of the substrate 36. The respective electrodes 44, 46, 60, 62 have tabs 36, 38, 42, 44 which can establish electrical connection to the electrodes 44, 46, 60, 62. The casing is filled with electrolyte, and a power consumption device is connected between the second electrode 44 and the fourth electrode 62. A current source is connected between the first electrode 46 and the third electrode 60. |
