PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress racing of a power source and bump feeling in a case where undershoot occurs in AT-like gear change.SOLUTION: A transmission controller 12 changes a target transmission ratio to a value closer to a High side than a previous value as vehicle speed increases; controls a variator 20 so that an actual transmission ratio is the target transmission ratio; and in a case of generating undershoot in which the actual transmission ratio exceeds the target transmission ratio to be changed to the High side, updates the target transmission ratio to an actual transmission ratio at a time point when the change direction of the actual transmission ratio is changed from the High side to a Low side. |
