<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus or the like for displaying an available item name by switching from an icon (simple explanation) or the like of a category in an entire area where the icon is displayed in response to user selection. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus displays each category on each predetermined area, the area including an icon and/or character representing the each category.
