<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase of print execution time.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus acquires information on print data processing capacity and standby time of a plotter engine from a printer 20 (S1), generates print data by use of a certain PDL (S2), and estimates processing time for each page of the print data (S3). The information processing apparatus checks whether any processing time estimated for each page of the print data exceeds the standby time (S4), generates print data of the page, by use of another PDL (S5) when any processing time estimated for each page of the print data exceeds the standby time (Y in S4), replaces the page generated with the other PDL by the page of print data generated with the certain PDL when the processing time of the page generated by use of the other PDL is shorter than the standby time (Y in S6), to create print data to be transmitted to the printer 20 (S7), and transmits the print data to the printer 20 (S8).</p> |
