<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake structure which suppresses uneven distribution of surface pressure on a fastening face between a flange of an intake manifold and a cylinder head. <P>SOLUTION: The intake structure includes an intake manifold which is positioned in the center between banks and above an engine body, and in which: a plurality of intake flow passages 13, 15 are provided in a connected row arrangement in a direction of the cylinder row for each cylinder; the intake flow passages 13, 15 in the left bank are connected to the cylinder heads in the left bank, while intake flow passages in the right bank is connected to the cylinder heads in the right bank, thereby, the intake manifold are configured in a fan-shape toward the engine body; and a flange 23 is connected to the cylinder head with bolts 23b disposed outside the plurality of the intake flow passage 13, 15. The intake manifold includes a gas flow passage 41 which introduces a part of combustion gas into the intake flow passage 13, 15 and which is disposed in a wall part of the intake flow passage 13, 15, the wall part on the bolt 23b side, and is joined to the flange 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
