<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of thermally powdering the reprocessing solution of a nuclear fuel efficiently without causing uneven heating. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of thermally powdering the reprocessing solution of a used nuclear fuel by using a cylindrical microwave oven, the complex relative permittivity and the dielectric loss of the reprocessing solution are measured in real time by using an open coaxial microwave sensor during the heating, for example, and the phase state of the reprocessing solution is detected. Subsequently, a linearly polarized waves, orthogonally polarized waves, or circularly polarized waves are supplied to the microwave oven depending on the phase state (liquid phase, liquid solid mixed phase, solid phase) of the reprocessing solution thus detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
