<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative actuated type electromagnetic brake including an inexpensive manual release device with a manual release lever so as to prevent the number of components or the number of assembly steps from being increased. <P>SOLUTION: The negative actuated type electromagnetic brake includes: a brake disc 7; a field core 2 including an energization coil 11; and an armature 13 positioned between the brake disc 7 and the field core 2. The negative actuated type electromagnetic brake further includes: a brake spring 12 for pressing the armature 13 toward the brake disc 7; a manual release lever 21 which is formed to hold the field core 2 from the outside and is supported freely turnably by the field core 2. The manual release lever 21 is formed detachably from the field core 2 by being elastically deformed to enlarge an interval between both ends. In the vicinity of both the ends of the manual release lever 21, a pressing part 26 is provided which presses the armature 13 toward the field core 2 by turning the manual release lever 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
