<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismic/vibration-control mechanism which is suitable for optimizing aseismic/vibration-control performance by a simple constitution, and arranged at a mass damper or at a structure.SOLUTION: In place of a conventional mass damper, there is provided a damper which comprises a linear motion shaft being a shaft body which has a spiral groove being a groove of a spiral shape having a prescribed lead along the longitudinal direction at an external peripheral face, a rotating body which is guided following the spiral groove, and a frame for rotatably supporting the rotating body. When the linear motion body and the rotating body are relatively displaced in the longitudinal direction, a ratio between the linear displacement of the linear motion body and the rotational displacement of the rotating body is changed according to the relative displacement.</p> |
