The display device may provide a display device including: a substrate; a thin film transistor formed on the substrate; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; microcavities formed on the pixel electrode, the microcavities holding liquid crystals; a roof layer formed on the microcavities and covering some sides of the microcavities; and an encapsulation layer formed on the roof layer to seal the microcavities, wherein sides of neighboring microcavities define openings are disposed in a matrix configuration. |
