摘要 Methods and systems are provided for dynamically auto-tuning a gas turbine engine. Initially, parameters of the gas turbine engine are monitored to determine that they are within predefined upper and lower limits such that a margin exists. A first incremental adjustment of an inlet guide vane (IGV) angle is performed. If the monitored parameters are still within the predefined upper and lower limits, a second incremental adjustment of the IGV angle is performed. It is determined that the monitored parameters are still within the predefined upper and lower limits. Additionally, it is determined that a predefined value of the IGV angle has been reached such that the IGV angle is not to be further increased or decreased.

One or more computer-readable media that, when invoked by computer-executable instructions, perform a method for dynamically auto-tuning a gas turbine engine, the method comprising: monitoring one or more parameters of the gas turbine engine during operation; determining that the one or more monitored parameters of the gas turbine engine are within predetermined upper and lower limits such that a margin exists for the one or more monitored parameters; performing a first incremental adjustment of an inlet guide vane (IGV) angle of the gas turbine engine; upon performing the first incremental adjustment of the IGV angle, determining that the one or more monitored parameters of the gas turbine engine are still within the predetermined upper and lower limits; performing a second incremental adjustment of the IGV angle of the gas turbine engine; upon performing the second incremental adjustment of the IGV angle, determining that the one or more monitored parameters of the gas turbine engine are still within the predetermined upper and lower limits; and determining that a predetermined value of the IGV angle has been reached such that the IGV angle is not to be further increased or decreased.
