The embodiments of the present invention are applicable to the technical field of communications and provide an application recommendation method, system and server, the method comprising: receiving data reported by at least one terminal, the data comprising static data and first application behavior data which are both collected by the at least one terminal, the static data being used for identifying the type of the terminal; obtaining the active indexes of applications on different types of terminals according to the first application behavior data; receiving an application list request sent by a first terminal, searching for the active indexes of the applications on the terminal of the same type as the first terminal according to the application list request, and recommending the applications having active indexes higher than a preset first active index threshold to the first terminal. In the embodiments of the present invention, the applications recommended to the terminal by the server are those having high active indexes, thus having favorable compatibility with the terminal. |
