The present invention provides a method and device for operating an application on the basis of a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) user interface. The method comprises: determining the type of Wi-Fi accessed by a mobile terminal, Wi-Fi types at least comprising mobile Wi-Fi and non-mobile Wi-Fi, mobile being taken to mean capable of moving along with a mobile terminal; according to a determined result, determining the resources that can be managed by the mobile terminal. The method for operating an application on the basis of a Wi-Fi user interface, provided by the embodiments of the present invention, facilitates user management of terminal or online storage or other device resources, thus allowing the user to benefit from efficient everyday work or studies. |
