The present invention relates to a method and a system for determining a position and an attitude of a mobile terminal. The present invention provides the system for determining the position and the attitude of the mobile terminal, configured to include: the mobile terminal having multiple image acquisition devices; and a position and attitude determining server compensating initial position and attitude information of the mobile terminal to determine final position and attitude information of the mobile terminal based on geo-referencing in accordance with bundle adjustment with multiple images acquired by the image acquisition devices, wherein the position and attitude determining server extracts an image point coordinate, corresponding to the position of an image matched by comparing images of the same image acquisition device or images of other image acquisition devices among the image acquisition devices or comparing an image with a searched geo-referenced image, as a conjugate point, and performs a geo-referencing process in accordance with the bundle adjustment with respect to the matched image to compensate the initial position and attitude information, thereby being capable of acquiring more correct position and attitude information regardless of indoor or outdoor spatial restriction, and moreover being capable of providing a location based service such as a high quality navigation service, an additional geographic information service or an augmented reality service. |
