Disclosed is an apparatus for preparing hygienic red pepper powder. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a raw material feeder where red peppers having at least one different feature among red pepper cultivars, hot taste components and colors are introduced and mixed; a red pepper stalk end remover removing the stalk ends of the red peppers; a cutter cutting the red peppers with stalk ends removed; a seed sorter sorting out the pericarps and the seeds of the red peppers; a pericarp washer washing the sorted pericarps; a pericarp dehydrator dehydrating the washed pericarps; a pericarp grinder grinding the dehydrated pericarps; a seed washer washing the sorted seeds; a seed dehydrator dehydrating the washed seeds; a seed grinder grinding the dehydrated seeds; a mixer mixing the ground pericarps and the ground seeds; an ultrasound treatment device treating the mixed red pepper powder with an ultrasound wave (20 to 100 KHz) for 5 to 100 minutes to make first sterilization; a microwave irradiator irradiating the firstly sterilized red pepper powder with a microwave (2.54 GHz) to make drying and second sterilization; an air fryer fast circulating heated air having a high temperature of no less than 200°C to dry and thirdly sterilize the dried and secondly sterilized red pepper powder; and a packaging machine packaging the thawed red pepper powder to make consumer products.
