PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dummy load constructed to simplify attachment work and maintenance work of power absorbers and reduce workload of a worker.SOLUTION: A dummy load W used for a terminator of a waveguide transmission line includes a rectangular waveguide part 2 which has: an intermediate body formed in a hollow rectangle tubular shape whose one end part can be connected to the waveguide transmission line, and in which among two pairs of side surface parts of the rectangular tubular shape, one pair of side surfaces has opening parts formed therein; a pair of plate members formed into a shape of closing the opening parts; and a plurality of strip-shaped power absorbers 10, 11, 12 arranged on one surface of each plate member with predetermined gaps provided therebetween. The rectangular waveguide part 2 is assembled in a manner that the one surface of each plate member, on which the power absorbers 10, 11, 12 are mounted, is directed toward the inner tube side of the intermediate body and is arranged so as to close the opening part, and the plate members are fastened to the intermediate body. |
