PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversing mechanism capable of ensuring a transfer between a process and a following process by the reversing mechanism which is interposed therebetween when individual information-carrying media are transferred to the following process by sucking the media and releasing the sucking in a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: This reversing mechanism 11 is so configured that a fixed inner ring part 13 is enclosed in a rotary outer ring part 12. A large number of small-diameter air holes 21 for longitudinally sucking individual inlets as information-carrying media are axially formed in the rotary outer ring part 12 circumferentially in multiple rows. A negative-pressure zone 32 for sucking individual inlets by negative-pressure air and a positive-pressure zone 34 for releasing the sucking by positive-pressure air are formed in the fixed inner ring part 13 with a partition wall 33 interposed therebetween. A wave-shaped distal end part 33B in which the negative-pressure part 32 and the positive-pressure part 34 co-exist is formed at the distal end portion of the contact of the partition wall 33 which is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the rotary outer ring part 12. |
