<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing fiber-reinforced plastics, in which generation of thickness deviation of the obtained fiber-reinforced plastic or disturbance of fiber orientation can be suppressed and deterioration of mechanical properties due to generation of interlayer voids can also be suppressed.SOLUTION: The method for producing fiber-reinforced plastics comprises the steps of: piling two or more incised prepreg substrates, each of which is obtained by impregnating reinforcing fibers arranged to one parallel direction with a thermoplastic resin, on one another, so that the fiber axis of one of the adjacently-piled reinforcing fibers has a crossing with that of the other of the adjacently-piled reinforcing fibers, to obtain a prepreg laminate 100; heating the prepreg laminate 100 to the temperature T; and holding, pressurizing, cooling and integrating the prepreg laminate 100, which is heated to the temperature T, between at least one pair of press rolls 10 while forcing the prepreg laminate to travel to one direction to obtain the fiber-reinforced plastic 200 having 0.7-1.0 of a thickness ratio (d2/d1) (in which d1 is the thickness of the prepreg laminate 100 to be integrated and d2 is that of the fiber-reinforced plastic.</p> |
