<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generation detector capable of detecting a heat generating state of a wire connection section in a reliable manner, making a person clearly confirm the heat generating state visually and reducing a manufacturing cost thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A frame body 2 having good thermal conductivity is tightly fit to a sleeve of a wire connection section with an attachment band 6 which is wound and set around the sleeve. A trigger piece 3, comprising shape memory alloy with a free end which is deformed when heat generated at the wire connection section is applied, is fixed on the frame body 2. A display piece 5 is fixed to a raised section 4c of a torsion spring 4 in a displaceable manner between a standby position lying over the wire connection section and a detection position rising up from the wire connection section. When the trigger piece 3 is engaged with the raised section 4c of the torsion spring 4, displacement of the display piece 5 from the standby position to the detection position is prevented while force of the torsion spring 4 is accumulated. When the trigger piece 3 is deformed by the heat generated at the wire connection section, the display piece 5 rises up to the detection position and thus the state of the heat generation can be visually confirmed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
