<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carry-out method of a nuclear fuel material in a nuclear power plant with which the molten nuclear fuel material can be carried out in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A boring device 43A including a cutting device 44A is disposed above a reactor core within a reactor pressure vessel. The cutting device 44A is configured by mounting a rotary shaft with which an inner blade 47 is mounted in a lower end portion, within an outer cylinder so as to be rotatable. Around the rotary shaft, a spiral screw is mounted, and an outer blade is also provided in a lower end of the outer cylinder. When taking out molten nuclear fuel material being present in the core of a reactor, the rotary shaft and the outer cylinder of the cutting device 44A are moved down while being rotated, and the nuclear fuel material in the core is cut by the rotating inner blade 47 and outer blade. Scrapes of the nuclear fuel material enter the outer cylinder and are transported within the outer cylinder by the rotating screw. The scrapes of the nuclear fuel material are further passed through a collection discharge port 58 and a transport duct 59 and accommodated in a fuel cask. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
