An improved mask for medical use, when put on a patient's face by pressing, said mask being capable of securing high airtightness within the mask and avoiding excessive stress concentration to the patient. The mask for medical use is provided with an extensible sheet (30) having extensibility and being disposed so as to cover the nose and mouth of a patient and a frame (10) having an edge part (11) in an outer circumferential part, wherein the frame (10) is designed so that the edge part (11) can press the extensible sheet (30) thus disposed to thereby closely adhere the extensible sheet (30) to the area around the nose and mouth in the patient's face.
