<p>The invention relates to a method for manufacturing an optical article with anti-glare properties, including: a) the formation on at least one main surface of a medium, by the application of a base of at least one colloidal mineral oxide with a refractive index no lower than 1.80 having initial porosity; b) optionally, the formation on the first bottom layer, by the application of a base of at least one colloidal mineral oxide with a refractive index lower than 1.65, of a second bottom layer with initial porosity at least equal to the initial porosity of said first layer; c) application to the bottom layer or layers of a top layer composition of an optically transparent polymer material with a refractive index no greater than 1.50; d) filling in the porosity of the bottom layer or layers by penetration in the bottom layer or layers of at least part of the material of the top layer composition formed in step (c) and forming a hardened top layer with a thickness determined such that the top layer and the bottom layer or layers, after filling in the initial porosity thereof, constitute a bilayer anti-glare coating, in the domain from 400 to 700 nm, preferably from 450 to 650 nm.</p> |
