a communication unit configured to communicate with the communication apparatus and the server through first wireless communication; and a control unit configured to carry out control for determining whether or not to permit the communication apparatus to communicate with the server through the first wireless communication in response to a request, from the communication apparatus and received by the communication unit, that is based on a predetermined protocol, wherein the communication unit sends the request to the server and receives data written in a predetermined format as a response to the request, and the control unit carries out the control based on the data.
