<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a glass sheet with a resin, which can provide stable mechanical characteristics by being coated with a resin nearly uniformly on end faces of the glass sheet, and to provide a glass sheet with a resin.SOLUTION: In an embodiment, the method for producing a glass sheet with a resin is provided which comprises rolling a glass sheet in a side direction on a resin sheet provided with a prescribed thickness and applying a resin of the resin sheet onto end faces of the glass sheet. In an another embodiment, the production method is provided in which in the method of the above embodiment, the end faces of the glass sheet are rotated once. In a further another embodiment, the production method is provided in which in the method of one of the above embodiments, the glass sheet is rectangular. In a still further another embodiment, the method is provided in which in the method of one of the above methods, cross-sectional shape of the resin on the end faces of the glass sheet with a resin is isomorphic.</p> |
