The second grasping portion and third grasping portion are movable toward the first grasping portion. |

inserting a distal end region of an apparatus into the opening in the wall of the body lumen, the apparatus comprising a first grasping portion, a second grasping portion, and a third grasping portion, wherein the second grasping portion and third grasping portion are movable toward the first grasping portion; moving the third grasping portion toward the first grasping portion to limit movement of the distal end of the apparatus relative to the opening in the wall of the body lumen; and moving the second grasping portion toward the first grasping portion to advance the closure element distally. |
