PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery which has superior safety by securing a path from which gas inside the battery is discharged to the outside when inner pressure of the battery is abnormally increased.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte battery 100 used in the present invention is configured so that: a positive electrode current collector part 104 electrically connects a positive electrode tab group 405 to a plane part 121, and is electrically connected to a positive electrode terminal 109; a negative electrode current collector part 105 electrically connects a negative electrode tab group to the plane part 121, and is electrically connected to a negative electrode terminal 110; at least one of the plane parts 121 of the positive electrode current collector part 104 and the negative electrode current collector part 105 is disposed in the direction along the winding axis direction of a wound group 102; a gas discharge valve 108 is provided at a portion covering the positive electrode current collector part 104 or the negative electrode current collector part 105 having the plane part 121 arranged in the direction along the winding axis direction. |
