PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the noise amplified due to increasing resolution.SOLUTION: An image processing method includes: acquiring an input image by imaging with an optical system (S101); acquiring first noise amount included in the input image (S102); generating a first image by performing high-resolution processing on the input image (S105); decomposing the first image by frequency into a plurality of second images as different frequency band components (S106); calculating second noise amount for each of areas divided in the second images, on the basis of the first noise amount and frequency characteristics of the high-resolution processing (S108); performing noise-reduction processing on each of the areas in the second images, on the basis of the second noise amount (S109); and generating a third image by recombining the second images subjected to the noise-reduction processing (S110). |
