<p>The invention relates to a glass article, in particular a lamp vessel (116, 1), having a glass composition which contains silicon dioxide (SiO2) as main component and neodymium, aluminium, cerium, barium and boron in oxide form as additives, where the proportion of silicon dioxide in the glass composition is at least 90% by weight, the proportion of neodymium in the glass composition is in the range from 0.06 to 1.40% by weight, the proportion of aluminium in the glass composition is in the range from 0.09 to 1.20% by weight, the proportion of cerium in the glass composition is in the range from 0.06 to 1.30% by weight, the proportion of barium in the glass composition is in the range from 0.006 to 1.30% by weight and the proportion of boron in the glass composition is in the range from 0.0009 to 0.20% by weight.</p> |
