EVALUATION INDEX FOR CULTIVATION PRODUCT OF STEM CELL AND USE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an index useful for evaluation of the culture supernatant of a stem cell and the use of it.SOLUTION: As a method for evaluating the culture supernatant of a stem cell, a measuring process is executed for measuring one type or two or more types of elements selected from a group made up of the following elements of the culture supernatant of the stem cell: a first element which is protein having monocyte chemotactic promoting factor-1 (MCP-1) activity; a second element which is protein having out-of-cell domain activity of sialic acid coupling immunoglobulin lectin-9; and a third element which is at least one type of chondroitin sulfuric acid and chondroitin sulfuric acid proteoglycan. Measuring such elements enables evaluation of usability of the stem cell culture supernatant for therapeutic use.
