PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and high-strength counter for a kitchen and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A counter 1 for a kitchen includes a counter 2. The counter 1 for a kitchen includes a honeycomb material 3 made of synthetic resin provided on the underside of the counter 2. A method for manufacturing the counter 1 for a kitchen is a method for manufacturing the counter 1 for a kitchen in which the honeycomb material 3 made of synthetic resin is provided on the underside of the counter 2, by which the counter 1 is formed by injecting synthetic resin in a molding die into which the honeycomb material 3 is inserted.
