A temperature sensor (1) equipped with: a thermo-sensitive element (2); a pair of electrode wires (21) drawn from the thermo-sensitive element (2) to the rear-end side; a sheath pin (3) from which a pair of signal wires (31) connected to the pair of electrode wires (21) is drawn to the tip-end side; a tip-end cover (4) covering the sheath pin (3) so as to also cover the thermo-sensitive element (2), the pair of electrode wires (21) and the pair of signal wires (31); a rear-end side filling agent (5A) which fills the interior of the tip-end cover (4) on the rear-end side thereof so as to include at least the pair of electrode wires (21), the pair of signal wires (31), and the periphery of the rear-end section (22) of the thermo-sensitive element (2); and a tip-end side filling agent (5B) which fills the interior of the tip-end cover (4) on the tip-end side thereof so as to include at least the periphery of the tip-end section (23) of the thermo-sensitive element (2) or an area on the tip-end side relative to the thermo-sensitive element (2). The Young's modulus or the filling rate of the tip-end side filling agent (5B) when the interior of the tip-end cover (4) is filled is lower than that of the rear-end side filling agent (5A) when the interior of the tip-end cover (4) is filled.
