<p>The present invention relates to a capsule compression control method in an apparatus of extracting a beverage from a beverage raw material accommodating capsule received in a capsule holder, the invention comprising the steps of: compressing, when receiving a beverage extraction command from a user, the beverage raw material accommodating capsule from an upper surface and thereby lowering a fluid supply unit, which supplies a beverage extraction fluid to the capsule, toward the capsule holder from an initial position by using a motor; measuring a load current flowing the motor while lowering the fluid supply unit; and when the measured load current, measured in the load current measuring step, exceeds a reference value, suspending the lowering of the fluid supply unit by suspending the motor. According to the present invention, whether a compression strength is proper is determined by using a load current flowing a motor, and therefore, it is possible to properly respond if a compression strength of the fluid supply unit is changed in response to manufacturing tolerance or assembly tolerance of parts, and wear and transformation of a connection unit or a contact unit, and therefore, it is possible to suspend the fluid supply unit in a position in which constant compression strength is shown always.</p> |
