METHOD FOR KNOWING OPERATION STATE OF HEAVY MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get objective data indicating whether or not a heavy machine is under an idling state.SOLUTION: A method for knowing an operation state of a heavy machine comprises steps of: installing an acceleration measuring means at a heavy machine with an engine being applied as a drive source; measuring an acceleration of the heavy machine by the acceleration measuring means; calculating a dispersion in frequency distribution of acceleration amplitude on the basis of this measured acceleration; determining of operation of the heavy machine including a determination whether or not the heavy machine is under an idling state on the basis of this calculated dispersion in frequency distribution of acceleration amplitude; and knowing a time zone of the idling state of the heavy machine on the basis of a result of determination of operation of the heavy machine.
