PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method and device capable of recognizing overlapping members with a high reliability.SOLUTION: An optical receiver 8 is disposed in order that, when members are conveyed and supplied to a machine, two laser sensors 5 and 6 disposed in a facing manner detect the overlapping of the members passing between the laser sensors 5 and 6. When there is no member in a gap 4 between the two laser sensors 5 and 6 and the two laser sensors 5 and 6 are aligned accurately, the optical receiver 8 receives a laser beam from the facing laser sensor 6. This arrangement can improve the measuring method and measuring analysis, so that the reliability of the monitoring of the conveyance of the members and the supply of them to the machine is improved. |
