PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly fill a gas storage container with a gas mixture.SOLUTION: A gas storage container, such as a gas cylinder, is filled with a gas mixture comprising a first gas and a second gas under pressure by: filling the gas storage container with a liquid-solid mixture comprising liquefied first gas and solidified second gas; closing the gas storage container to the passage of gas into or out of the container; and further making the liquefied first gas and the solidified second gas gaseous within the closed gas storage container. The process is easier and more energy efficient than direct compression processes, and is safer and results in less wastage than direct liquid injection processes. |
