PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength sweeping light source device in which occurrence of problems due to mode hop can be suppressed even if a light source of causing mode hop is used, and to provide a measuring apparatus.SOLUTION: A wavelength sweeping light source device includes a light source 10 emitting wavelength sweeping light having a wavelength varying at a predetermined period, a mode hop detector 42 for detecting mode hop of the wavelength sweeping light emitted from the light source 10, and a control unit 50 for controlling the generation timing of a mode hop detected by the mode hop detector 42 to a period other than a designated period, by controlling at least one of the parameters for defining the designated period having a fixed or variable predetermined time length provided in a predetermined period, or the control parameters of the light source 10. |
