PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the responsiveness of the display of an engine rotation number display device in the vicinity of a phase change from a torque phase to an inertia phase after a gear change of an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: An engine rotation number display device of a vehicle comprises: an automatic transmission which is arranged on a power transmission route between an engine and wheels; an engine rotation number detector which detects an engine rotation number; a needle-type engine rotation number display part which displays the rotation number of the engine by a needle; and a control device which controls the engine rotation number display part on the basis of an actual engine rotation number which is detected at the engine rotation number detection part, or a virtual rotation number which does not depend on the actual engine rotation number. The control device determines a change degree of the virtual rotation number at the torque phase at the gear change of the automatic transmission, and at the inertia phase succeeding to the torque phase, performs control so that the responsiveness of the needle of the engine rotation number display part with respect to the actual engine rotation number or the virtual rotation number becomes high as a change degree which is determined at the torque phase is large. |
