<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform suitable preheating in a short time without thermally damaging a thermal head. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 3 is provided with a dummy print processing part 3a for performing simulative printing by dummy data along with paper sheet conveyance. When the control section 3 receives a printing command, the dummy print processing part 3a is activated before performing a printing process with respect to image data, and the dummy print processing part 3a performs a dummy print process on a predetermined area of a paper sheet 4 by inputting a printing signal corresponding to the dummy data to a heating resistor 11 of the thermal head 1 under paper sheet conveyance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
