<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve train device of an internal combustion engine enhancing reliability of a hydraulic actuator, and to provide a method of driving a valve train of an internal combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: This valve train device of the internal combustion engine includes: a direction switching control valve operated by a control signal and controlling the direction of a hydraulic oil pressure; a valve driving piston reciprocated in a valve driving cylinder in response to the hydraulic oil pressure direction controlled by the direction switching control valve and capable of driving at least one of an exhaust valve and an intake valve of the internal combustion engine; and a safety valve lowering the hydraulic pressure between the valve driving cylinder and the direction switching control valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
