The present invention relates to an overhead crane system for automating planar operations, thereby further simplifying operation manipulations and improving working efficiency, and the overhead crane system comprises: a pair of fixed frames having traveling rails installed on the upper surfaces thereof, respectively; a pair of traveling devices installed on respective upper surfaces of the traveling rails and moved in the transverse direction by motor driving along the traveling rails; a girder mounted in the longitudinal direction between the traveling devices, an auxiliary rail being installed on the upper surface of the girder; a trolley, which is installed on the upper surface of the auxiliary rail, which is moved in the longitudinal direction by motor driving along the auxiliary rail, and which moves a hook up/down by a winch installed on the lower portion thereof; a controller, which is installed on the trolley, which contains a wireless receiver, and which controls operations of the traveling devices, the trolley, and the winch according to command signals transmitted through the wireless receiver; a remote manipulator, which is provided beneath the trolley, which contains a wireless transmitter, and which wirelessly transmits command signals to the controller in response to the user's manipulation of a direction button; transverse traveling distance detectors installed on the traveling devices, respectively, to detect the distance of movement of the traveling devices and transmit the same to the controller; and a longitudinal traveling distance detector installed on the trolley to detect the distance of movement of the trolley and transmit the same to the controller. |
