PENETRATION-RESISTANT MULTI-LAYER FILMS FROM POLYVINYLACETAL CONTAINING PLASTICIZERS WITH SOUND DAMPENING PROPERTIES

An interlayer film comprises partial film(s) (A) and partial film(s) (B) each comprising plasticizer-containing polyvinyl acetal. The content of plasticizer in each film differs, and the total content of plasticizer in the interlayer film is less than 28 wt.%. The interlayer film has secondary mode dissipation factor of 0.25 at 20[deg] C measured based on ISO 16940. and secondary mode natural frequency of 750 Hz at 20[deg] C measured based on ISO 16940. The interlayer film is used for manufacturing laminate of 2 glass plate of thickness of 2 mm. An independent claim is included for usage of interlayer film.
