Method of reacting a compound (A) containing at least one epoxide group with at least a compound (B) containing at least one carboxylic acid group, where (A) and/or (B) contains a (meth)acrylate group, in the presence of Lewis acids containing at least a directly bonded di(cyclo)alkylamino group. An independent claim is included for a use of Lewis acid as catalyst in the reaction of (A) and (B).
